Pumpkaboo - Mini Pokemon Plush

Here's a miniature hand-stitched plush of the Ghost/Grass type Pokémon Pumpkaboo, which I completed sewing yesterday evening. I'd say this little guy is pretty seasonally appropriate, if nothing else. Which made me all the more determined to complete him just in time for Halloween! Mission accomplished!

I absolutely adore anything Halloween themed (just look at the background fabric)! This includes jack-o'-lanterns, naturally. Needless to say, the moment I saw the adorable Pumpkaboo on my Pokémon Y game, it became a firm favourite straight away. I felt compelled to stitch him, so drew up a pattern and got to work. Certain aspects of him were tricky to sew, since I made him so tiny (creating extra work for myself, as usual). Cutting the fangs small enough and working on the curl of his cowlick rendered me bleary-eyed for hours afterwards! XD But, working on a small scale meant that I could practise keeping my stitches as neat as possible, so that was good. Plus, I feel happy with how he turned out in the end. I'm satisfied with the likeness to the Pokémon proper.

He is crafted from felt, and stands at a mere 9cm tall. Guess that makes him a (Super) Small Size! XD Hope you guys like him as much as I do.
