Doodle of Ed

Hello once more, everyone! I thought it was high time that my Eddy drawing finally had some company. Enter: Burrhead, Monobrow, Lumpy... everyone's favourite lovable oaf, Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy! It's crazy how much this guy has made me howl with laughter and gawp at his randomness. The world would be a much more entertaining place with more Ed types in it.

I thought he'd be far easier to draw than Eddy. WRONG. You have NO IDEA how many times I had to erase his mouth during the pencilling stage!

However, Ed's body structure is fun to draw. He's so laidback, he walks practically horizontally. Plus, his head, sleeves, jeans and torso are madly triangular! I also think he resembles a zombie in this drawing. I suspect that Ed himself, comics junkie that he is, would be satisfied with this! From an artistic standpoint, I am feeling more confident with inking the squiggly outlines so central to the character designs, which is great.

Edd 'Double D' is my favourite Ed boy, so no pressure to get him right! Hope you like this and see you next time!
